Are airlines becoming more filthy as people bringing on food leave their garbage behind?

Generally airports won't let you bring food on airplanes unless you buy the food there. The stewards' job is to clean the airline so . . . if that were the case, I'd say they wern't doing their job.

Probably. Between that, the cutting of personnel and the pressure to get those planes turned around quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if they start to become flying pig pens;)

I really haven't noticed. People always brought and left trash behind. It still gets cleaned up before the next load of passengers... (I can only assume as well as before).

I heard that flight attendants, contrary to popular belief, do not always clean the pouches out before the next flight. I agree with this because there's always garbage in there when I fly. Flying sucks.

I would blame that on the staff not cleaning in between flights, not the general public leaving things behind. It would be like seeing a movie in the theaters after the show before went uncleaned, there will be a mess.
