  • Gosh. I know I could do it, but some things are just automatic you know what I mean? Like when you stumb your toe and you yell out " Son of a Moth** Fu*c*er that F*ck*ing hurt like a B*t*h F**king C*nT"
  • I could, but I find the idea insane. Unless they just made a ban on certain words it would be impossible to enforce. The image this question put in my mind is wonderful though. Sunday morning, in church, the preacher looks to the congregation and says that Jesus rode an ass...and the swat team bursts in!
  • What happened to freedom of speech? Cussing in public especially around kids is shameful. But isn't court system overwrought with senseless cases already?
  • yes, cursing is for people who do not know how to express themselves better....communicate ....they feel this helps..whether they are expressing humor, anger, joy, sadness...but we can communicate all these without it ...immaturity is just a part of lots dna or upbringing... for instance...my kids knew I was truly angry, had had it , when I said a curse word....I feel sad about this now , but wasn't mature enough, I guess , to get my point across until I cursed.....but my point got across, just should of figured out a way without saying a bad word.....certainly our toddlers today hear way too much( at home, tv, computers, etc) and by a teen can swear with the best of em!!! this is so irresponsible and totally starts at HOME!!!!!
  • Don't single out SC. Many states and jurisdictions have laws on the books that penalize for "uttering". Such laws are not usually enforced in the ways you would be concerned about...even though they could, I guess. I do know of one case where the charge of uttering was added to a list of other charges, when a woman I know, drunk, ripped off on a verbal tirade aimed at her arresting officer. I admit, I was taken aback several years ago in New York City, when I was standing with my senior Mom waiting for the light to change to cross the street. This dude, standing right next to Mom was reeling off a round of "F" words to the other guy he was "talking" to. I winced and was anxious for the light to change...Mom acted like she never heard a thing. :-) And, no, I wouldn't have wanted for the guy to have been arrested for it.
