You can donate just about anything that is in usable condition. Or if you want to, when you see someone who is homeless you can pass your socks to them.We did that with some older jackets

Would you feel bad if you donated those socks that were in ok condition, only for it to be turned around and sold to some poor people for more than they're worth?

I actually know a bit about the used clothing/rag distribution business. So there's actually more to my future answer than my question might indicate. But if the socks are in OK condition why are you getting rid of them?

Sure, make sure you wash them! My aunt buys second hand socks, washes them, and then her daycare kids make sock puppets :)
