It's a 50/50 chance. some robbers are unpredictable, especially the ones on drugs. Never be defensive with an armed robber. money and physical objects can all be replaced. A human life cannot.

Very high chances, I think. I would expect the person holding the gun to be very afraid, and anyone else in the vicinity would probably be afraid, too. High chance of loss of control in a fear filled situation.
