President Clinton is correct and Obama is an idiot if he doesn't listen. Clinton has 8 years of presidential experience... Obama has none and has already broken campaign promises. Dude better listen up.

He should go away, but his ego won't let him.

I think that the economy should be addressed exactly as it is, neither with alarmist or overly optimistic attitudes. Now, I think that the economy is disastrous. That is my opinion. I do not believe in sugar coating things. If you sugar coat things then people are in for a shock when the sugar coating wears off. So, I think Obama should discuss it exactly as he perceives it to be. ---------------edit from the comment thread I think this is a job where you need to tell the truth and a job where the truth is most often NOT told. . I do not think that Clinton's advice is sound. I know that if I find out that Obama is either doomsaying or sugarcoating I am going to trust him even less than I already trust politicians. . I do not like being lied to even with good intentions. If I find that someone is sugar coating something to me I am not going to believe a word out of that person's mouth again. I also will not believe someone I learn who purposefully doomsays. . I am a HUGE one for hearing it straight up, as the individual believes. As I said, I tend to not believe politicians so, if I learn that Obama is either doomsaying or candycoating, I am going to file Obama under "if his lips are moving, he is lying" and my ears are going to shut off.

Bill is no dummy. Things were better then. Plus, Letterman and Leno loved him ;-).

I've got no problem with Clinton's comments. He is right! Part of our problem is fear based and shouldn't be encouraged. Obama should be more positive but seems to have his own agenda in scaring congress into passing a bill none of them even read nor understand. That is plain insanity to me. They should have more sense.
