Do you find serial killers interesting?... am I a sick person for finding them very interesting?

If you are, then you have a lot of company. The media makes a fortune from the subject and people build careers on studying it.

I found them very interesting, its not sick. Its curiosity of the human psyche. Suicidals are more interesting though

I too am fascinated with serial killers. I watch the shows on Tru TV and Discovery Channel about signatures and organized/disorganized killers, shrines and mementos. I think what's so interesting is the idea that these are actually human beings - like us - but so unlike us. How and why are they different? Nature? Nurture? Why doesn't everyone who had a rotten childhood became a serial killer? What puts them over the line? I don't think it's gruesome. I think if you are really interested in human nature, this aspect of it holds a lot of information that we can all use.

I do find them interesting too. I don't think it's sick...it's a study of psychology and sociology.
