  • I expect you’d have to have a pretty good reason. One missionary I served with was able to go on a mission at age 18 because he had a full basketball scholarship to Stanford, but only if he agreed to not break up his college with a mission. He requested an exception, the exception was approved, and he’s now in the NBA with a couple of world championship rings. I’ve also heard of children of those in full-time Church service (e.g. mission presidents, general/area authorities, etc.) being allowed to go early, but I expect if that were your situation, you wouldn’t need to ask about it on here. Regardless, good luck with your mission plans!
