How many of you men walk around the house in your underwear in front of your kids? How many of you women walk around the house in your underwear in front of your kids? Why or why not?

Never! As parents it's our job to ensure our children are brought up properly. I'm sorry, but to walk around the house in your underwear is teaching your children that's an acceptable thing to do at any time, which it is not. Children don't understand only "now". When they see or are exposed to something, they automatically think it's ok anytime.

I don't do it when my son is home, but I do have to say I do when it's just me here, I'm pregnant and pretty far along right now and personally I wish I never had to wear any clothes. ; )

It was bad enough walking in on my parents doing the so called "play fighting in bed thing" when I was little but if I had to see them walk around in their undies, I think it would make me clinically insane...plus could you ever have friends over?

I do... but I am gonna have to stop soon, he is 3 and I think getting a little old to see daddy in his underwear.

Only for emergencies, like midnight feedings and diaper changes. After that, I would wear a robe or pajamas. We are trying to keep heating bills down so even though the kids are grown, I wear a robe to keep warm. I don't see a real reason to avoid walking around in just underwear I just never felt comfortable doing it.

I walk around stark raving naked often because we don't have kids.

Guilty as charged! Boxers and a t-shirt is what I wear when in the house...It's my house and that's just the way I am.

its not a big deal in our house except for the teen son hes the only one whos totally shy ,funny though he wasnt brought up that way and no-one gawps or points

never when the kids are around. i'll wear boxers sometimes when its hot and the kids are staying with their mother. . i remember once when i was in the kitchen dancing with my son and daughter and after a few minutes, my pants fell down, leaving just undies. they laughed!!! i pulled 'em up and we kept dancing. 2 years later and they still bring up the time we were dancing and daddy's pants fell down. embarrassing for me, funny for them.

my dad did. all the time. tighty whitey's no doubt. didnt scar me or anything, i was used to it and didnt think anything of it. my mom on the other hand was always covered, never would she wear just underware around us, not saying i havent seen her stark naked. im a grown adult and we are very open in our household about pretty much everything. haha.
