  • Christian means basically follower of Christ, so they are all technically christian churches. Some just interpret teachings differentily. They are all true, but the first was Catholic if I'm correct. The newer religions formed to protest the then corruption of the Catholic Church more or less.
  • Churches in my opinion are just a way to spread lies... No matter which religion u choose , churches always have to dictate what u do and what u are. Lets put it this way: Belief and faith is a key part of religion, so if u dont truly believe in something, u wont have faith..... Faith is a belief, and a belief is an opinion, which is only supported by fantasy and wishful thinking...so i let u decide for yourself.
  • This is a situation of which Paul warned Timothy in one of his letters. "1 I CHARGE thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; "2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. "3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; "4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy 4: 1-4 Paul was warning of a time when people would stop listening to those who were teaching God's doctrine and would start making up doctrine that were more pleasing to them. Such people would would then hire preachers that would tell them what they wanted to hear rather than what God wanted to here. This is why there are so many different Christian churches. Now don't get me wrong here. I am not questioning the sincerity of those that follow the various branches of Christianity. I believe that most are sincere in their beliefs that they are following the right path. However, ultimately we all choose the religion that we find most appealing to us for whatever reason. Because there are so many contradictions between the various branches of Christianity, it is not possible for all of us to be right. Beliefs that are completely opposite of each other cannot both be true. It is possible that both are wrong, but they can't both be true. So, which religion is true? Well, mine of course. Then again, that is what everyone will tell you regardless of which religion they belong to. We can all give you the Biblical verses and reasoning that support our claims of truthfulness, but it will all come down to the claim by each of us that my religion is the true one. So, each of us my seek out and decide for ourselves which one religion is indeed the true Church. Seek God's help in making that decision and He will guide you.
  • God is a God of order, and not the author of confusion. He will teach only one doctrine. No two Christian denominations today have precisely the same doctrine. - The conclusion must be: They cannot all be true. No two of them can be true. At MOST one must be the true church. The only alternative to that is that none of them are. - Joseph Smith found that he could not decide which was right by study and the power of his own intellect. - He found a solution in the Bible, to which all Christians look for guidance: James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. - We recommend that all men and women follow his example in seeking help to answer that question at the source of all knowledge. You have before you the invitation to do so direct from God.
