Fine: contrary to the beliefs of a certain set of exclusionary Christians who think they are better than the rest, Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Orthodox, Mormons, JWs, etc. are all Christian (this group makes up well over 50% of all Christians). There are over 50,000 identified Christian denominations in the world today and because the all accept the Jesus that is described in the bible as their God, they are all Christian.

Catholics are one of many groups of Christians. They are a very old group, and thus have collected a number of extra traditions that other, more recent groups do not have. They are often seen as very traditional and ritualistic and, due to their history, have more skeletons in their closet than newer groups. One important difference is that Catholics have a complex hierarchy of (worldly) authority with the Pope at the top, whereas some other churches are more independent of one another.

Catholics confess to a priest, do a penance and think they are fine. Christianity you ONLY have to tell God in your prayers your sin..Not anyone else has to know. Catholics take Lord's supper every Sunday. most Christian churches do it 2-3 times a year. I think Catholics get sprinkled. christian churches believe in baptism (dunking you under you submersion). Hope that has helped
