  • Well, the daily ticket is now more than $60, but Disney is better than ever at offering multi-day/multi-park tickets so you can maximize your savings. You need to figure our which parks you want to see. Inside the park, you can expect to pay slightly higher than normal prices for water ($2), food ($7+ for sandwiches and burgers). Then there are souvenirs, which vary wildly in price. If you're going to stay in the area, you can't beat Disney hotels, but they're very expensive compared to area off-property hotels. If you're not familiar with the areas DO NOT stay at ANY hotel along Highway 192 east of S.R. 535. Believe me, I live here. You can expect to pay $60 a night on the low end and $120-ish for a nice, respectable room. You'll need a car if you visit; what public transportation does exist is horrible, though most hotels do offer shuttles to and from the parks. Car rental here used to be crazy cheap - like $20 a day, but I don't know what it is now. A good rule of thumb my parents taught me that seems to work is, estimate the cost of your trip by adding all the elements...and then double it for a realistc figure. Lastly, visiting the parks is expensive by any budget, but Disney World is an absolutely wonderful place and you won't regret it.
