Got a new tattoo yesterday. I've heard mixed things about the tattoo goo and so on. To Goo OR Not To Goo??? Any tips?

I put the goo on all of mine. It helps them heal faster.

I used unscented lotion, and mine turned out fine. They weren't too itchy while they healed.

I use Tattoo Goo and used it on all of my tattoos. It makes them heal very quickly and they keep their colour. I use the soap to wash new tattoos, the lotion or goo itself and after the tattoo has healed (and not before), I use the colorguard stick to protect them from the sun and retain good colour. Tattoo Goo is also great for windchapped and sunburned skin. It is also a great hand moisturiser for the ladies.

I used goo, except on one... i forgot to buy goo, so i used vasceline and that tattoo too longer to heal. I use the goo, then use unscented lotion and all my tattoo's look great, never had a touch-up and some of them are going to be 3 yrs old soon.

my friend got a butterfly on her foot and was usung tattoo goo, now the whole area aroung her foot where she applied the tatoo goo is stained light green and it has not gone away, stick with a&d ointment.

I used goo on mine and it really seems to brighten the colours. HOWEVER - the BEST use of it I found out by accident!!! In a fit of desperation I used it as a hair gel when I ran out of my usual, and it works BETTER than ANY hair gel I have ever encountered on two Continents!
