  • Well I'm an ex-Christian and 100% of me became atheist :) . I simply realised that many core beliefs of Christianity made no sense. Reading the Bible without preconceptions helped to strengthen that belief. I took a look around various other religions and found them all to be flawed. Eventually I realised that either God does not exist, or God does not care what we believe, or God is evil. In either case, there was no reason to believe in or worship any god.
  • Don't know. I'm an ex-christian and sometime atheist though. It was a long process involving thought, observation, questioning and reading. Came to the conclusion that all the hundreds of thousands of gods we have peppering out history are man-made, rather than the other way 'round.
  • I am christian and was catholic which is not the same thing, most preachers cram hell and damnation down the throats of easily inspired folks that are looking for answers and tell them you have to do this and do that and immediately it is a turn off, when a person is shown through the love Jesus instilled in us to lead a person to Him then and only then would someone understand what a christian is really like and I am sorry for all those who are not serving the Lord and I hope some day some one comes across your path and shows you the true love of Jesus and what he did for you!! That is how I finally came to be where I am today and will never go back to where I was before which was living in a self made hell
  • All of the Exes I have talked to where never Christians to begin with. They thought they were, because they were taught church membership equalled Christianity. All they knew was what their church told them, they were taught as kids how to be good church members and not how to be true Christians. It is sad because a lot of religions turn people away from God.
