The cheapest and most efficient way would be to purchase a cassette car adapter (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cassette-Adapter-MiniDisc-Discman/dp/B00005T39Y). They're sold in places like Radio Shack, K-Mart, Rite-Aid, etc.

Simply plug into the earphone jack and insert the cassette into your car's cassette player. Audio is transferred from your device and plays through your car's audio system.

A suggestion was made concerning FM transmitters. They're ok but the sync between your player and the FM frequency is less than impressive. Also, your may experience a loss in volume. You have none of these problems with cassette adapters.

The easiest way is to get an FM transmitter that will connect to your iPod and play the songs through your car's radio. Search google for ipod fm transmitter.
