God even watches everyone (high survallience, Big Brother.) In other words he is like a sophisticated security camera that watches everything, everyone. Also if you think independently or you aren't following him 100% then you go to Hell (which is like a concentration camp in comparison.)

I don't follow 'religion' as in a church. I believe in God, and I follow the spiritual life with Jesus. That is good enough for me.

God even makes it a point stating that if you are not with the republic then you are against it kind of thing by condeming atheists to Hell if they are not sure. sounds alot like Robospeir.

I agree with you. There are many demands that the church makes on its congregation and when the believer is having trouble complying they are encouraged to "go deeper" it is a process of brainwashing until the believer becomes a clone of the church. The worst example I have come accross in real life are the G12 churches. They argue that their ideologies are not religious at all but a complete way of life. Their aim is to encourage you let go of your independence as an individual and become totally dependent on God. I.e. the church. Very sad. This is why I do not agree with organised religion. I believe that faith is a personal matter, I do not trust another human being or group of human beings to guide me on what I should think, feel, do etc.

i think some forms of Christianity do go that far. but in my view, the point of religion is not to control you, but to teach you how to control yourself. God gave us free will to choose how to behave, so being forced to conform defeats the purpose of free will.
