After I turn on my 1996 chevy lumina and start driving, i hear a small click and the "anti-lock" light comes on. Then there is a squeaking noise the whole time I am driving, does anyone know what that is?

Check for stones/objects in the finned rotors near each wheel.

This will require removing each wheel, one at a time. Block the wheels and use *jack stands* to support the vehicle, not just the car jack, to avoid injury/death.

Objects stuck in the finned rotors will confuse the sensor which is reading wheel speed.
