Sometimes it does, but not often.

No. It is still a person, looking for an answer. If it is that easy, then surely you could look it up for them?
-
Maybe they do it for points or because they want to get involved and don't have any other thoughts or queries. Or maybe they are intimidated by how many results can be found when you look up something simple on the Internet(s). It doesn't bother me so much as I wonder why those questions end up generating umpteen answers saying the same thing. What does bother me are the questions with a definite answer, like math questions.

Just a little.
-
At first it did, but now I look at it as a chance to just have more fun answering questions.

I was in Barrow, Alaska for a while and also at sea. There are lots of places that have only sssllloooooowwww or intermittent internet service. I've always enjoyed trivia and I figure it might help so... no. The kinds of questions I dislike are those which sound like they are picking a fight or are unnecessarily crude.
-
It doesn't bother me, because it makes it easy for me to answer the question. It makes me think that the questioner is not that interested in knowing the answer, and has asked it purely out of boredom or for points.
-
It doesn't annoy me so much as astounds me! Between Google and Wikipedia, answers to most questions of fact could easily be found by the questioner on their own, with more authoritative answers than what they'd get here on AB. I'm especially surprised in the medical categories, where people with serious diseases are seeking answers to important health issues that they should be discussing with their doctors.

I would like to provide the very best answers always, but these browser get stuck a lot, and once feeling blessed that the browser is working I don't want to wander away from Answerbag, and then have a hard time coming back. But I do agree that there are many occasions in which it would be very prudent to Google a term before sending information into Answerbag.
-
No, because I ask questions like that myself. Some people are just really really good at searching, and others (like me) aren't. I've tried searching things different ways to no avail. I ask a question and someone gets the answer in minutes for me.
-
No. Most likely they are exhausting all means to get the best answers. I do that personally: I use Google, and I post questions here on AB (and sometimes on Yahoo Answers too, if I desperately need a serious answer. This is true especially for my job hunting-related questions).

No.
