Two years ago in Miami Deep Sea Fishing. I caught a Bottlenose Shark. It was a struggle, but I snared him in and claimed him mine. Then they took a picture of him, and said "here's your shark". I think I got jipped.

I do not have a best day. I went deep Sea Fishing off Venezuela and was ill within 5 minutes of getting on the yacht. I spent 8 hours through really rough weather sitting braced against the rail with my head in a bucket.

I was seven and at a fishing show. They had the 2 doughboy pools set up, on for the kids one for the adults, with the chance to win a prize for the biggest trout caught out of them. The Kids pool was so small that I refused to fish in it and asked if I could have a shot at the adults. They let me after several minutes of arguing. They thought that I wouldnt be able to cast to the middle where most of the fish were and didn't want me to get upset. Well I cast to the far side past all the adult that were in the middle and caught the largest fish they planted so I won. You should have seen the adults, arguing for them not to give me the grand prize which was a GLoomis ultra light. I twas the fact that I won, but the fact that they were actually worried about me getting upset and throwing a fit. I was would have been happy with just proving that I could fish as good as any adult, which I know I could.

When I was a little girl my siblings and I caught over 150 fish off the front dock. Grandpa made us stop fishing because he was sick of taking fish off the hook and having to clean them all. Most were perch, sunfish and bluegill but there were a number of bull head, (when caught early in the season taste as good as the rest)......

Most of the time I don't even put a hook on the line. I do use a bobber, take a book, a coat for a pillow and a beverage of choice. Throw the line in, prop up the pole, read a little, drink a little, and fall asleep in the sun. I once used a hook but than a fish bit, pulled my pole over and I had to chase it into the lake. These are my best and my worst day.
