I considered donating a kidney to a friend 5 years ago. Before I could be tested she asked me if I bleached my teeth. I do. She said I was not eligible. I have not found any research that supports this. Do you know if this is true?

i have been searching high and low on the internet and i cant find anything to back up this. i know a lot about renal failiure because it runs in my family and ive never heard of this. ive searched loads of websites and still cant find anything saying bleeching your teeth will make you not eligible to donate a kidney. maybe your friend had her reasons for telling you this. to be absolutley sure though i would ask a doctor next time you pop in.
