It's hard to say, since I've never been deported to Syria and tortured there. However, should it happen I'll let you know what it's worth to me. Arar doesn't seem to be complaining about the settlement (that I know of), so I guess it's fair compensation if both parties are happy with it.

What did he get 10 million dollars? Not bad for being a convicted terrorist. How much will Canada pay Ben Laden when he is found, a couple of hundred million?
