Nope. And I survived the Mommy's curse: "When your child grows up, I hope he behaves exactly like you!"....Nooooooooooo. He doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke, he's got a 4.0 average in his third year of a double major in college. The Mommy's Curse has failed!!

No. These superstitions were encouraged in ancient Egypt to keep people away from looting the valuables in the pyramids. Not that the fear of a curse deterred the serious tomb raiders. To carry the superstition forward is ridiculous.
