Why dont fathers want to see there children

Many fathers do want to see their children. Two of my brothers, when they divorced, actually got custody of their children.

theres usually a whole host of reasons, but sometimes i think theyre in denial.

You win the award for ignorant generalization of the day lol. Are you just referring to your kids father? Either way, there's myriad reasons, they could just not care, they could believe it's not theirs, they could have joined the service in order to provide for their kids etc.
