....woman should be taught to value themselves..they should be taught to educate themselves..they should be taught to respect themselves..when these values are taught properly a girl will not gossip or spread rumors..she will have better things to do with her time

I'm going to avoid answering this one, but I will give you some advice, lol. NEVER point out hypocrisy to a woman, they don't care, it won't change, and you will find yourself with a headache when they are done talking about unrelated topics. Good question though! : )

Absolutely. But people don't stop tearing each other down until they feel good about themselves. Society teaches women that we can only feel good about ourselves if we are 6 feet tall, blond, blue-eyed, and 110 pounds. Furthermore, men gossip just as often as women do, but it's excused as "shop talk" and not labeled as gossip.
