On M*A*S*H they killed Col, Blake off did that one episode itself make you more or less of a M*A*S*H fan or was it just another episode to you?

I have always been a great fan of MASH 4077. The episode was indeed sad but I understood why this was done. I was surprised to see his replacement Sherman Potter (Harry Morgan) was chosen to be his replacement. As he had been in an earlier episode playing spaced-out Major General Bartford Hamilton Steele in The General Flipped at Dawn, which originally aired on September 10, 1974. "Steele" is convinced that the 4077th needs to move closer to the front line, to be near the action. In my opinion he filled the shoes of Henry Blake (McLean Stevenson) very quickly.
