Is this answer too late, I wonder. Has your husband/partner considered "vasectomy". A kind man can save a woman from a not very nice op. (sterilisation) and from the need to take contraception pills. It is a simple op. for him (can be done in his lunch break!) Believe me, it has no detrimental effect on his sex life--as virile as ever ! Probably even better as he can relax that he's not getting you pregnant.

it really is much easier on everyone if the man has a vasectomy. it is only a minor op for a man, but much more serious for a woman. My husband had it done, and everything is fine.

I had my tubes tied after my 3rd child and suffered no real ill effects except for being extremely sore for several days. A vasectomy is a much simpler and safer procedure. It can also be reversed a lot easier if you change your mind at a later date and decide you want another child. Unfortunately, my ex was one of those misinformed, self-important jackasses that wasn't going to allow anyone to mess around with his "manhood". As if.....

My husband had a vasectomy and I think it's a much better option. That way you'll have no problems whatsoever, lol.

I had it done 2 almost 2 years ago. It is painful for about a week after and also in most women it makes the menstrual cycle longer and heavier, it did mine and also i now suffer from pms as to where before i did not.
