When somebody on answerbag has an opinion that is on the other end of the spectrum than yours are you truly upset? Isn't it a good thing to hear things from all points of view?

No. Expanding one's horizons through other peoples points of view have done nothing but hurt the world.

No I am not upset I do not think everyone should agree with me, it is stimulating to debate a point. I am not here to convert anyone just to ask and answer and debate questions and points of view.

I don't mind being wrong or disagreed with, no upset there. Sometimes people say something to you in a way you hadn't thought of, and you may even agree with it! It is a good thing. I wouldn't want to be abused for my opinion so I wouldn't do it to others either.

No, it doesn't bother me at all. The only thing that would bother me is if someone started cussing me and ridiculing my opinion. That's all any answer given on AB is, is just someones opinion. That's the point, to get other opinions and hash out what you think is the best answer.

I don't get upset if someone's opinion differs from mine. What frustrates me the most is when someone gives factually inaccurate information, and refuses to learn and accept that facts and statistics prove him or her wrong.

If I felt strongly enough about something it might upset me. Especially if they kept on and on and on about it on their soapbox trying to get everyone who didn't agree with their way of thinking to concede and adopt their opinion and ways. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If only everyone would recognize this and understand it and most importantly respect that not everyone is going to share the same point of view. But then I guess if it were that simple we'd have world peace.

The opinions of AB'ers is not mono-minded. Express any point of view and their will be someone out there who will agree with you. Even if your position is not a popular one, post it. Some timid poster will give you points though they may not wish to expose themselves to the disapproval of others. If we agreed on everything, why bother to AB at all? BTW- I'll admit that the arguments I make do not always represent my OWN personal views. At times, the answers are so one-sided that I think an opposing view is deserved and possibly worth a few points as well.

I like a little controversy. I am not a bully, I offer my thoughts and then leave. If you want to come after me, you are not gonna get much of a fight cause I don't have the headspace for drama.
