Rec'd an official looking IRS e-mail saying I am eligible to receive a tax refund of $869. I am asked to submit a tax refund req; I guess to service@irs.gov. I am asked to click a specific place on the e-mail to access my tax refund.

Hell no! The IRS does not send emails to people!! Do not respond. Delete it. Report it to your ISP.

Its just another scam. You should be use to these by now.

I'd be VERY Cautious !! I've NEVER known the IRS to e-mail anyone about a "potential" Reund .... If you really want to know ; why not CALL the IRS directly and ask them ? That is the best and safest way to get an answer ...
