No, that would lead to inevitable flame-wars, and put even more focus on the points, which is definitely a bad thing.

No, I don't. I agree that it could only cause friction on the 'Bag, and that's not good...
-
No, it'd just get emotions mixed up and Answerbag would become another cool website lost in a frenzy of cyber-space wars. That'd be no fun for anyone.

It would stop downrating for no reason which is becoming more and more prevalent. So I think that people should be stopped being able to go through a persons card downrating for the fun of it. They say they are only allowed ten on a person but why should you have ten minuses with no reason why?
-
You can figure it out at times by the points you are given and if you can remember who you pissed off if its down rated. But it may not be that great of an idea. I know I would like to know who rates me up or down - I would like in some cases to understand why the down rating.
-
I'd like that too, I guess. It would certainly make people less enthusiastic about downrating for no reason or downrating the same person over and over, and it would get rid of the horribly annoying "Who's downrating me?" questions.

No, it leads to retaliatory ratings. Yes, I agree with the idea someone should have to leave a REASON for the DR, but they shouldn't be identified. It used to be when you DRed an answer you had to leave a comment, and it just led to ratings wars. However, as it is, there isn't a place to leave an explanitory comment on a question.

the only way to stop the trolls is to scrap the d/r points ...its that simple really a no brainer ..if you take aways this the trolls can not do anything so they just go away
