  • No, i try to improve the service by givin helpful comments and i go back to check that is it being followed or not. if yes then fine but if is not, sucks to the restaurant.
  • I'm probably one of the few people who enjoy that. If the waiter also insults me.. well so much the better.
  • I would do both you dont go to restaurants to waste your time with a bad service
  • I do not complain a lot but it there is the need I even go straight to the manager himself..I pay for good service
  • Depends how bad it is. I usually tolerate slow service or even if they make a mistake but I get very narked about rude service and that is when I am most likely not to go back to that place again.
  • I rarely have experienced bad service. I have complained maybe twice. If I don't return to a restaurant, it usually because the food isn't good, not because of poor service.
  • For slow or inaccurate service, I usually cut the place some slack. If it happens again, I'm gone. As for rudeness, there's no excuse. I'll go to the manager and conplain. Most likely, I won't be back either.
  • I rarely complain, if I'm real pissed I take it from the tips, but even that doesn't happen a lot. It's funny because I've been in customer service for years and I hate it. I remember applying for a busser the job, the manager seriously asked me what do I notice good bussers do when I go out to it. I thought he was joking because who the hell pays attention to that guy, just give me some water, bread, take my plate and fuck off for all I care busser!
  • I normally won't complain, but bad service = bad tip. I once asked a waiter for something to drink 3 times in the hour I was at this restaurant. He kept telling me he would bring it in a minute and never did. His tip was a note letting him know if he gave better service to the next customer he would probably receive more than a 50 cent tip. I felt I shouldn't have left anything at all. When I left, I went to get something to drink at a drive through.
  • Even if someone is not happy at their current job they should not take out on the customer. The customer has a choice and chose to come to the restaurant, spend their hard earned cash, and deserve good service. Slow and inaccurate are forgiven if it is not consistent, everyone has bad days. However, rude service is not acceptable and the manager should be made aware of it. Just don't be that guy/gal that ask for everything to be comp'ed.
