Has anyone had acupuncture done? What was it like and did it help?

hi,yes i have.i had a really bad shoulder pain that was restricting movement of the arm,and i was just passing a shop that opening and doing acupuncture,so in i popped and saw the doctor who was Chinese by the way.any way i had it done and it didn't hurt,and was told to come back for three more treatments.that was three years ago and i only had the one.it was better immediately that very day.i still get the odd twinge now and again,but no restricted movement in the shoulder.i suppose if i had the three treatments i wouldn't get the twinge.it really worked for me....regards,,tessa5
