All's I can say is.... DUH!
-
What??? Making a decision by myself??? Without asking AB'ers if I should or shoudn't??? Are you mad?
-
I know I should come up with something funny, but I can't. I had so many emergencies lately that I am very thankful that I can call 911 right away....
-
A real life emergency? I'd be calling 911, then doing whatever I could.

In an emergency, you have to ACT.

Depends on what kind of emergency. If there was nowhere I could go or call anyone directly, or if I had to wait for help I might take to the internet and do research to see if there was something I could do in the meantime. Don't know if I would use AB as I don't think it's very suited for most of the emergencies I can think of. But possibly. But if it's a life or death thing more than likely I'd be racing for the doctor or having the EMTs coming here.
-
The only way I would be on the computer is to lookup doctor's number or some other appropriate contact like poison control. Taking the time to sort through AB'ers who may or may not have anything useful is a waste of valuable time.
-
Actually it would take about the same time for an ambulance to get to my place (it took 15 minutes last time I had to ride in one) as it would to go on AB, but I would rather call for help or deal with it myself if possible.

yeah i would pretty much do something else! i feel for folks that actually would and do come hear for that.
