Many, but one is very special. It was when Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Johnny Winters, George Goble and I can't remember who else all showed up unannounced and took over the show. It was a classic and hilarious. Poor Johnny was speechless..(lol)

I can remember a controversial though incredibly funny episode with Arnold Palmer as a guest. Johnny asked Arnold what brings him luck before tournaments. He said, quite frankly,my wife kisses my balls(golf balls).Johnny's face lit up and off the top of his head he said "I guess that made your putter stand on end". The network took some flack for the statement, but it was all just in fun.

I can't remember exactly who it was, but it was a golfer that mentioned somebody "washing his balls"

Many. Johnny actually interviewed people. The late shows these days are all about the hosts and moronic humor. The guests are all stars. Johnny had professors and writers and all kinds of people. I don't even watch the late shows anymore. Even when I have insomnia.
-
He was on too late at night to watch all the time..however, the final show with Bette Midler was memorable! :)
-
Ed Ames!!!
