No,....That will NEVER happen. The currency is possible and maybe someday probable,...but religion is way too different for everyone to believe the same way.
-
Of course. It will happen eventually, or else we will die out as a species. That said, I think it will be a while coming and probably not in the next 100 years.
-
Yes we will... One Government: God's One Religion: Christianity One Currancy: In God's government, everything is free. Why? coz he is a loving God that looks after us all, whether you worship him or not, he still loves you.
-
Not religion, never Perhaps one day a universal government similar to the United Nations. and a universal curreny but still maitaining the countries current legal tender
-
One government, possibly. One currency, definitely. One religion, NEVER, but it won't matter... in a perfect world.
-
The dream seems good, but can never happen. One reason is that to have a single religion you would need to prove the other religions wrong, meaning that there would be no need for dogma or faith, so it wouldn't be a religion any longer, just a fact of life. You would also have to consider what size of government and how it would be made up. One representative per country? You can get 1 million Vatican Cities in one China. On the other hand PR would work either. Currency is probably the easiest, except that it would negate for money anyway. The only real way to have a single currency would be to have a new currency, some form of electronic credit and debit system, and you would need to equalise sector pay or all the good doctors would want to work in one area, leaving the worse doctors for poorer areas, causing discontent and ruining your Utopia. You forgot, as well to think about language. We see English (UK or US version) as being the international language, but Chinese Mandarin is the first language of the greatest number of people. There would have to be a great deal of education of those who needed to learn a new language, to avoid misunderstandings. I reckon it's too Herculean a task for anyone, or any one country, to gain enough momentum to make it seem possible.

I would say no. That is only possible when you kill ambition of human being. Or there is only one power hungry human being left, others are happy to just live. It can never happen. More we try to unit, more dividing powers appear. Even a dictator can’t rule whole world now. About one religion. I have my doubts here too. Unless there is massive ethnic cleansing during a “war of civilizations” and followed by forceful conversions. Not going to happen. Even if there is semblance of unity, like UN, EU etc, nations will keep there identity.
-
Haha, you won't get rid of religion I know that much, religion is as old as time itself when you think about it. Yes there will be government, and I think one day there will be only ONE government. Not sure about currancy though.
-
Perfection is unobtainable and we know what happens in the event of one Government although it could only be a Dictatorship Look what happened to the USSR and the Eastern Bloc, probably will happen in the EEC in 50 years
-
Yes to all three. I'm basing my answer on Biblical prophecy which predicts it.
-
In a government people will clearly see the future that the entire reason for government is to support the citiaens and the people. In a government, there will always be people pushing for communism, socialism, anarcy, communism, and democracy. These groups will likely forever be in constant conflicts. So, that's a NO for government. In a religion, culturally developed views and the personal view of "truth", or atleast the perception of truth will forever tear apart people in their relationships. So, that's a NO for religion. In currency and fiinances, the astute will always have developed alternate opinion, so a no will seperate them do to unyielding ambitions for the futures possibilities. So, that's a NO for currency. Three NO'S Don't Make A YES, So the answer is NO!!
-
Yes, Yes and No. Instead of currency I forsee a barter system or perhaps just good will toward all.
-
One Government: SCARY! Think about it...several Governments have become corrupted throughout history. Their residents have been able to flee to neighboring countries in order to avoid persecution in search for a better life. If that only, single country that rules the whole planet becomes corrupted and criminal...WHERE ARE WE GOING TO FIND REFUGE!! So the answer is , never, never one government. One religion, never. People are just stuck into ancient traditions. One currency, possible. It is happening in Europe, so it could spread all over the planet.
-
I have heard talk of a one world Government and there will be no religion. Scary to think of it. When the antichrist comes, this is suppose to happen.
-
I don't really think so. There are too many cultural divisions in the world, and too many disagreements on relgion, government and currancy. No one would be able to agree on anything. If the world wasn't so divided, there wouldn't be war, famine and hatred.
-
Yes - Government would probably be something like a fully revised and better managed UN without the 'big' nations having a stranglehold on the decision making and use of veto for their own interests. Imagine the money that could be put to better use if countries didn't have to allocate those trillions of dollars on the war industries. It could go to improved agriculture, health and worldwide co-operation on scienific research for the betterment of humanity. One currency could easily be brought in as it was in the EU. It would make a much fairer trading system and would stop the exploitation of the poorer countries. As to religion .. this is definitely a yes. There are inklings of this happening already. Many people are able to see past the dogma, literal limitations and rhetoric of organised religion and are researching and finding that there is a far more universal type of religion that embraces all. Many great people have lived this universal religious dream - Einstein, Gandhi, Joseph Campbell, Bede Griffiths and many, many more - they have found the 'golden thread' that runs through all faiths.
-
One government. Never. Everyone wants too much power. One currency. Never. Separate countries want more money then others. One religion? Not a chance .
-
Currency possibly. Of course if you have only one goventment - then having one currency becomes much easier. Most countries in Europe now use the Euro (mine doesnt - UK). I think more countries will join in the next decade. Then we would just need the US$ to combine and we would soon have a defacto standard. Other countries may start to use the US $ as their main currency at the same time making convergence easier. The problem is that once a country no lnoger has complete control over its currency -then it loses a lot of sovereignty. So people may resist it. One government. Thats much harder. Even within the United Kingdom we have people thatr want Scotland to be fully independant for example. Thats not taking into acount those that dont want to be in Europe. There are many economic benefits by joining countries but people like their individuality. Only issues like global wrming might force the world to come together - (more likely to cause wars). A beefed up UN for example. I think unlikely. One religion - well unless a Messaih appears performing miracles upon miracles on TV... there will never be one religion. (And I probably owuldnt beleive it unless I saw it with my own eyes). If we get attacked by Aliens, I suppose that could do all 3. United world. Most religions would be viewed as rong and so we would converge onto Atheism maybe. Single currency as we build up our defences. OK more likely we will become slaves and be forced into the one govenrment ruled by the aliens with their religion.
-
No not possible.
-
I think the only hope for mankind is to mix so completely that no one can tell who is who and they all just give up. If we try really hard, in a few generations of interacial breeding everyone will be high yellow and people will be so mixed up about their religion that they will be forced to either give up on religion altogether or create one new one. So, if you have one of the "fevers" (i.e. Jungle fever, yellow fever etc) don't hold back, go for it. You are mankinds only hope.
-
I can, and it will suck. Think about it: What kind of government will there be if it's the only one? I'm thinking some kind of dictatorship. One religion? Maybe even a dictatorship/theocracy. As far as one currancy goes, I guess that's okay. What can I say? I'm not the most optimistic person ever.
-
I hope not... we would all be robots by then.
-
One government for the entire world ? Nope, it would be possible but it won't happen, not in our life time that is for sure. 1 religion - never 1 currency - quite possible, the euro is a start in that direction.
-
yep

Great answers! this is what i think. I feel one goverment can happen, we have the UN in development. The one religion is interesting, people will be able to worship god any way they want but their will be conditions. 1. No place of worship 2. No preaching or teaching about your belief 3. No selling of books etc 4. No media on expressing belief We will just worship god in a personal way. (one united religion) the UN call it a (NEW WORLD ORDER) this is their plan. And as for currancy, (you will be throwing your money in the streets as it will be worth nothing) the currancy that will unite peopele will be gold! What do you think of that future?
-
on earth? yes, I could. a totalitarian system that is already trying to take over the world, calling itself a religion of peace, when its very name means "submission". We have seen how submission happens under this regime.
-
I’m not sure about 1 Government. I would say that there will be a time in the future when the sovereign nations will contribute, or lend, the UN the power to remove religion. Even now, when a religious group stands up against the government of a sovereign nation, that government feels threatened. Example: China verses Tibet. China views the Dalai Lama as a religious leader of a movement wanting independence. I’m not saying that if you get rid of the Dalai Lama you crush the movement. I’m just saying China may view the movement toward independence as being a religious movement worth crushing. There are many examples in history of religion siding with the politics of a sovereign country. There are also many examples of governments looking to religion for support especially in support of the two world wars. In those day’s religion exploited a lot more power then it does now, so religion got away with it. In this day and age religion is losing its support. People are no longer going to organized religion to fill a spiritual need. [See answer 12] One currency? That may be another reason to get rid of religion. The wealth that it possesses! What an incredible sight to see all false religion gone for good.
-
Never, not in this world of ours.
-
No because that would require us all to cooperate and in this world it is impossible.
-
as on ecomplete organization? No. Largely because I don't know what a "currancy" is.
