This Perfect Day by Ira Levin
Another is Mockingbird by Walter Tevis

Both are stories about a distopic future where computers rule but love conquers in the end.

The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, because even though there are sad parts, in the end, you feel like the main characters are gonna be okay, and suceed in life.

Any number of books: Some great, some good, some not so good. Most made me laugh, some made me gasp or cry, some just impressed the hell out of me. (Excuse the expletive.) Any book that I walk away from feeling better or more thoughtful than when I sat down with it, is a book that lightens my outlook and makes me feel more hopeful about the world.
In particular, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series (satire) is a quick pickup. Nothing like being reminded how silly we all are in our seriousness to make me feel better. <smile>
