My granddaughter's whom I am raising think they have the same dad. (neither one is in the picture)When the littlest one found a picture, I commented that it was her sister's dad. She said he's my dad too. When should I tell her? She's 5.

Tell them a white lie just to make sure they thought they had father, even though not in the reality. for a little kid,that helps .They need someone in their mind to rely on, and a father could be the best role for that someone. As they grow older they will gradually understand by themselves
