I would share it. Seems to me, that all the wars in the world is caused by religion, so maybe if there was no gods people could learn to live peacefully...knowing that this is it, their one shot being that there would be no afterlife.
-
If I alone found it, nobody would believe me anyway, and I would be labeled a crackpot, so why bother. Edit: O.K. Bob, hypothetically, if I found proof that there is no "god/s" and it was irrefutable, I would freely give it to the world. At the very least, this would put an END to all of the arguing between the different religions, and would therefore end a lot of conflict in this world.

I did once proof there is a God in a dream - then there was a debate between God and the devil and they decided to take the proof away from me. It was actually a proof that sex was good - but the process of taking it away from me would be proof their existence. I'n pretty sure I could recreate the proof if I wanted to - bt since they are taking on that kind of attitude - and I'd rather keep all the sex to myself - I won't.
-
I would see that proof as the devil's trickery as God is Faith, and Faith is blind belief. Sometimes you have to believe just to believe......
-
I'd share it, but only if people are willing to come to my long brainwashing lectures, pay me lots of money and promise not to tell anybody else what they learned.
-
I would share it with those who wanted to hear it and not bother those who don't. In any case in the final analysis everyone will believe what they want to believe no matter how much "proof" they are shown one way or the other.
-
What if you stumbled on proof that God was real? Or a better question for you, what if you where a 19 year old kid thats an atheist just minding your own business and suddenly God starts talking to you and telling you what to do? The second question I've delt with personally.

Tricky. If you share the knowledge that there is no God, then weaker minded people who believe to 'get into heaven' will degenerate, get drunk all the time, have rampant sex, and basically sin, sin, sin. Which means a lot of productivity is wasted, the economy collapses, random fights and wars happen, morals sink, no one's life will have a purpose beyond self-gain and materialism. Basically they'd live doing whatever they want instead of what's right, because there's no incentive anymore. But, if you keep it a secret, you deprive the people of the world a huge truth that would stop countless wars. I would keep the proof to myself, because even if religious wars are stopped, more wars will come up to take their place. Wars about food, water, etc. Also, the world is kind of stable right now (it needs so much work, though), but if you take the belief in God away then many people won't restrain themselves, and you'd see depravity on a huge scale. You know, doing stuff that's technically legal but very wrong.

I would, only because it would have little impact on the world of religion, thus "proving" that fact has nothing to do with dogma. Having proof of something is no guarantee of it being accepted by people. There are many groups and -isms in the world who have "proven" time and time again, their absolute resistance to proof. In short people will believe what they want to believe regardless of how much evidence there is to the contrary.

I would definitely share it; I would feel that something like that is not mine to decide whether or not to share. I would not expect it to eliminate belief in higher life forms, since there are some people who already explain away any realities that don't fit their pre-existing belief. But I would still share it; I wouldn't see any reason not to.

I think I'd leave it where I found it and walk away. For one thing, "proof" is often manufactured. Even if it wasn't, since I sincerely believe in God, it would have to be one hell of a proof to even make me consider if it was true or not. And, for another thing, even if was true, so what? People are hardwired to need something or someone to believe in, aka to need to have faith in something or someone greater than them. [If you are an exception, don't be offended.] Who am I to try to destroy the foundations of hundreds of thousands of millions of people's lives? I wouldn't do it, because I KNOW what I'd be like if I didn't believe in God, and it wouldn't be pretty. In fact, it would be downright ugly. Want to see the world go crazy and self-destruct? Just give all those "faithful" of many religions incontrovertable proof that there is/are no God/gods. Yes. There are more aethiests about these days, but not nearly enough to keep the rest of the world from going off the deep end. (If they even believed me.)
-
I would keep it a secret. The thought of the existence of God is the only thing that keeps some people in line.

I would share it with the world because I know of too many people that walk around hating God for his merciless or uncaring ways or others that wait for God to fix their lives. It could be quite freeing to discover that we are in charge of our own lives and there is not some great overseer or director.
-
I'd tell EVERYONE, and rub it in their smug little faces
-
I would keep it secret unless i knew that someone actually wanted to know the truth, not just confirm their beliefs. If I went out and told the world most would doubt, but if I did convince them the structure of our world would collaspe. Mainly because the people with the hard core beliefs would become depressed and those who were right would gloat
-
I would keep it to myself because a great number of people find great comfort in their faith.

oops, I meant to post what I wrote here originally in the comment section.........
