Why can't we get away from partisan politics so wwe can pull together as a country?

It takes both sides..currently in Washington D.C. only one side is trying..the other side is refusing! :)

Too much greed. Everyone wants to be in control of everything and they have the mentality of "Do as I say not as I do" when it comes to running this country. I wish our politics could go back to the 1930's when politicians actually listened to the American people and lobbied for the citizens who elected them.

I doubt it when science is ignored and BS is science it is unlikely that we can be drawn together except maybe for a fist fight.

The U.S. needs more parties, not less partisanship.
