When searching for a lost item, why do some people say, "I'm going to find it if it's the last thing I do." Of course it's going to be the last thing they do. Nobody looks for something after they find it.

But it will NOT be the last thing they do! They will probably go on and use whatever it was they were looking for, eat, sleep..... However, it will always be in the last place they look for it!
