  • Not 'we', 'you'. It happens. As for why nobody have asked you out, I can only guess.
  • Men don't like going out with feminists. That's gotta a scary miserable experience.
  • I don't know. I'm not a feminist but I hear yeah!
  • I've been a feminist since the 60's, and yet I've never asked a man out. But I do pay the tab, unless my wife has the credit card, so you're only half right!
  • Considering the quality of men nowadays, are you not surprised?
  • To tell you the truth, I don't see too many women, outside of politics, who consider themselves feminists these days. What started out as a wonderful movement in the 60s has become too extreme and even hypocritical for most of us. They lost me completely when NOW and others like them not only supported Clinton over several women who claimed he sexually assaulted and/or harassed them, simply because he supported their political agenda - but viciously attacked their character, education and physical appearance in the media. (from a former feminist - me)
  • How could you know such a thing? You asking this question is a bit like a Klansmen asking "Why don't blacks ever ask whites out?"
  • I have never asked a man out, but i have no problem paying for meals etc - as I work too why should he pay all the time?
  • I believe in equal rights for all people and have absolutely no problem picking up the tab.
  • I'm a feminist and have asked plenty of men out and picked up plenty of tabs. I would say that your problem is that you have never been out with a feminist!
  • I'm a feminist and I have asked each and every one of my partners out. That includes girlfriends. As for picking up the tab, it is common courtesy to do that when eating out regularly with a partner or friend. You take it in turns. It's called "being an adult".
  • why dont any woman ask out men or take the tab? Or make the first movie, or where a female condom?
  • Two possibilities: A) You're in the wrong place. I see women asking men out a lot, and now a days it's much more common for women to alternate paying the tab. B) They sense your negative attitude and stay away. If you are just sitting around hoping for a girl to pay your meal ticket, then of course you're not going to get many bites (no pun intended).
  • I'm sure that there are feminists who do feel the need to be overtly independent. Personally, I'd rather a 50 50 split
  • Haha, good question. A lot of them want to be put on the same pedestal as a man, so I dont see why they wouldnt be doing either.
  • You are one person, making assumptions about everyone. Feminists simply believe that men and women should have equal rights - no more, no less. I am a feminist and I have no problem asking a guy out or picking up a tab, as long as he picks one up every now and then. I'm a 50-50 kind of gal.
  • They don't like us. Which is really OK since we don't like them either.
