I ran into the same problem just last night. If it has been less than a year since you purchased it, and you still have your reciept, call 1-866-449-7112 and they will help you. They told me it was a corruption problem that caused it. Unfortunately the only thing they can do is send a new unit meaning that you'll have to manually recover all of the data you had on the other one. But the good news is it shouldn't cost anything if you are still under warranty.
