I actually did that once. I was thinking about something I prolly shouldn't have been and blew right through a red light. Thank God no one else was driving through and there were no cops!!

In Maryland, traffic lights are overhead (technically impossible to drive past ANY light). If the red light is facing me, I'm driving "through" or under it. So, in this scenario, "driving past" a red light means it's faced away from me; I'm driving through a green light. ...I have the right-of-way.
