One TRILLION dollars, of pork, earmarks, liberal agenda spending, falsely called "recovery" and "stimulus", all about taking power, expanding government, has ZERO chance of improving the economy. Are you on board with this crap?

Actually, if you read up on history, after the Great Depression there was alot of new government agencies and spending to help create alot of the modern systems.

No, but to the winners belong the spoils. Every little pet project and corporate political contributor is going to get something out of this. It's become a spending orgy without any rhyme or reason. I think it's payola, but, let's face it, I can't do a thing about it. This is only the first month. It's going to be at least a year long orgy of spending -- probably more. It's not going to stop until enough people hurt or they just push it too far. I heard ACORN is up for millions of dollars in earmarks from the stimulus package. The idea that they could get it isn't sitting well with me, but I guess someone somewhere feels they should be rewarded for something.

I particularily like the idea of spending millions of dollars on contraceptives. That'll really get the economy moving!
