Take your dog outside to go potty every half an hour when you are home. if you are not home I would recomend putting the dog in a crate or pen. When the dog goes potty out side be prepared with treats and be very excited!!! Say good dog!!! good dog! in the most disgusting baby oogling voice you can. the dog will associate that going out side is a good thing and makes you happy. If the dog does make a mistake and goes potty inside, dont make a big deal. walk over pick up the dog if you can or drag, the dog out side and tell it to go potty, give them 5 to 10 minuetes outside. if they go potty outside after the mistake MAKE A HUGE DEAL ABOUT IT!!! lots of treats and the annoying babyish voice saying good dog! But remeber when you let the dog out of the crate or pen that the dog must go straight out side!! I do this with my dog even though she is potty trained. and right when I wake up. Also before you take the dog outside, ask them "you need to go potty?" and when out side tell the dog "go potty" encourage them. The dog will associate the word potty with going outside and the treats and you being very extremely rediculously happy. Make it a party. Dont forget to deep clean the areas where the dog has already pottied inside, the left over smells can encourage the dog to do it again. Get rid of the pee pads! your house is not a big pee area for your dog! so dont make it one. let me know how it goes :)

Never scold a dog for potty in the house. It is the human's mistake for not seeing the sign your dog is telling you it needs to go out. The dog also might have a UTI that can be checked by a vet. If not caught earlier enough, it can lead to expensive treatments.

You have answered your own question! 1. You have provided SOFT SERFACES EVERYWHERE for her to go potty on IN YOUR HOUSE. 2. You allow her continued access to the bed, where she already has a problem. 3. You are allowing her to run loose in your home, when she is NOT YET anywhere near 100% House Trained. 4. You SCOLD her after the fact, which she has no clue why...and this creates STRESS which then ADDS TO the problem she is already having with your MIXED messages. The pee pads condone peeing IN THE HOUSE. They are soft, just like your bed, carpet, couch, chairs...In effect you are telling her to pee in the house, then scolding her for doing exactly what you have set her up to do. Make sense now? NO GUILT..waste of time! You are not the first person, who has ever accidentally trained their dog to do behaviors that you REALLY didn't mean to teach them to do...almost everyone has done it, maybe not with house training, but other behaviors that are undesired in the long run...NOW is the time to teach her what you would REALLY LIKE HER TO DO! My email addy is in my profile. Shoot me an email, with Answerbag-Potty 101 in the subject line and I'll send you a copy of POTTY 101 for free. It's work, but it's also FUN for you and your dog...and it gets positive results..it's never too late...but you'll have to DO the training...get rid of the pads, and start keeping her gated away from the bedroom, use a crate and baby gates when you are not home...use a tether when you ARE home so that you know exactly where she is and what she is doing...BEFORE she cops a squat. Stop scolding her for doing what she was taught to do...start having fun teaching her the correct lesson! YOU CAN DO THIS...AND WITH YOUR HELP...SO CAN SHE!
