How long will it take until Blu-Ray burners become as popular or take over DVD burners in computers? How many years until the price will drop to around the $100/$200 mark?

I don't think Blu-Ray (or HD-DVD) burners will become very common in PCs for a while - and if they do, they won't be used for that type of media very often, if for no other reason than the entertainment lobby will probably make blank discs outrageously expensive like they did for dual layer DVDs. Because you know (according to the same lobby) - the only people who could possibly want to use Blu-Ray or HD-DVD discs in their PCs are pirates ripping off the movie industry. Not honest people who want large capacity archival backup media options....... Sorry, my sarcasm is showing.
