The reality is that when you reach a call center right here, they still talk off a script. They all do whether they're here or there

My experiance with foreign call centers is I have a very hard time understanding what they are saying. Most speak UK English, not American English. Many slur their words or speak rapidly. Believe me when I say if you are hard of hearing, and I am, it is very discouraging when you have to have them repeat 5 or 6 times and still do not completely understand what they say. I wish they would get rid of foreign call centers and bring the help back home.

It doesn't feel very good. It is partcularly exasperating when you cannot understand what they are saying. I do think even American call centers have workers talk off a script. I've talked to someone who worked at one and asked her if they are always truthful. Nope. When I've asked have other people had this problem I'm always assured I am the only one to have incurred the problem. That is where they are untruthful. They often know darn well their company is having problems.

Oh I get so angry! I end up yelling asking for the supervisor! Then the supervisor is just as bad!
