I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to change my avatar. I get as far as getting the file name up on 'browse', but then isn't there supposed to be an 'upload' option or something?

Aww, you're changing your avatar? But I like your avatar. Oh well. You hit 'Submit' at the bottom after you've retrieved the file. Edit-Sometimes you have to refresh the page after you hit submit, if that doesn't work, I'm stumped. If that didn't work, maybe it's an error of some kind, maybe talk to Joel about it.

No, you just browse, choose the one you want, and hit submit. The page should refresh and tell you that any changes made were saved (this includes your avatar). Make sure your image is an acceptable extension (they won't allow .bmp, I believe), and that it isn't too big. Sometimes, it takes longer for the site to recongize you have a new avatar, so you7 may have to wait before seeing the difference. Though, one time, I couldn't change my avatar for weeks, no matter what I did. I just had to wait it out. But hopefully, the first half of that will work, without needing the second half heheh.

Sounds like something goofy on AB's end. I just went through the same thing on one of the REUNION websites. (Not with an avatar specifically, but with uploading pix.) They ran me through the whole "Maybe your file is too big, or formatted incorrectly, etc." Ends up they had a little programming glitch and eventually got it ironed out. Send a message to the help dept. Good Luck!
