Help answer this question below.

I have an 88 nissan sentra and when i turn the key the starter will sometimes clicks and sometimes it will turnover. theres no pattern to the problem. i have replaced the starter, replaced ignition switch, replaced starter relay. whats the dealyoo?

    Sounds like a bad battery ground. This is usually mounted to the frame somewhere. It may be rusted or loose. Otherwise it could be a bad connection on the positive post. loosen the positive and clean it, (if there is alot of foamy looking stuff on it, you can pour baking soda and water mixture over it to dissolve it, use a small brush to sweep it away), replace the positive cable and make sure it is tight enough not to move when you twist on the post clamp by hand.

    so did replacing your positive and negative(ground) for your battery work. My dad has the same problem going on with the same vehicle. please let me know thanx
