    It has been said that Dr. Harold Shipman, of Britain. He has confimed victims of 215 but the actual total is believed to be much more. He used to kill his victims by means of lethal medications.

    Further to Notagenius's answer about Harold Shipman:- An investigation carried out by Leicester University in 2002 said the minimum number of murders was 236 and the latest report concluded he was probably responsible for 250 deaths. He was only ever charged for the murder of 15, and commited suicide on 13/1/04. He was found hanging by his bed sheets tied to the bars on his window in his prison cell.
