Yes and English! I think it should be a requirement to learn to speak English in order to get a Green Card. This is NOT a rag on people who can't speak English. I feel that in an emergency in the work place our co-workers need to be able to be able to tell rescue workers what is wrong and direct them to the emergency. This works in medical emergencies as well as any other.

We kind of do, english, if I HAVE to learn another launguage I say I shouldn't be charged $250 to have to learn it, that is the going rate for a class right now for me to learn foreign languages

English is & should be our official language & I feel everyone in America should know it (when in Rome) but I also think that in these "new times" we should all be encouraged to learn a 2nd language...learning is not a bad thing & we should never stop doing it!
