  • i usually listen to music. Sometimes just headbanging to some crazy grindcore helps :D. I also drum alot, thats helps too.
  • I don't know. A good workout always does the trick for me.
  • I do not lift right now but I do practice my martial arts as well as I can away from a Dojang (Korean for Dojo). Some good kicking, punching, and short forms get the energy out, tire me a bit, then I settle down for some Hyung (Korean for "Kata") if I have the room. In winter it is hard because I cannot go outside and it is hard to do them in an apartment (I have to be careful of noise, not tripping over the cat, and the limited space). I always calm down by doing Hyung. I really cannot think of any times I have finished my Hyung and I am still annoyed. Just the act of getting into the mindset to do Hyung is focusing and soothing. I find some of the other drills are also focusing and calming. If I do not have the opportunity to do some Hyung (or some other martial arts drill that does not take room), I write or listen to music. Right now I have a bit of a bronchitis so I am stuck immobile (Ok I have one hell of a bronchitis). I am kind of stuck in a chair trying to breathe. So, I focus my mind and write. I write ranting pieces and settle into the long dissertations for which I am known. By the time I have settled my mind enough to focus on that I can use the anger to fuel a really good piece.
  • Take a swim and/or a long hot bath and listen to some quiet music. Drink a cup of Tension Tamer Tea, and go to bed.
